Hello, I'm Dr. Amanda Torres, and I am honored to serve as the Principal/ Head of School for Living Water Christian Academy. With a deep passion for education and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment, I am dedicated to helping our students thrive spiritually, academically, and personally.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role as Principal. I hold a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling, allowing me to provide holistic support and guidance to our students, families, and staff. I believe in the power of an education with a biblical world-view, that addresses not only academic needs but also the spiritual and emotional well-being of our students.

Furthermore, my Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education equips me with a deep understanding of the unique needs and learning styles of young children. This knowledge allows me to create individualized educational programs that promote growth and success for each child in our care. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Exceptional Student Education, specifically focusing on grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. This comprehensive educational foundation enables me to effectively address the diverse abilities and needs of our students. I am committed to providing inclusive and tailored instruction to ensure that every student receives the support necessary to reach their full potential.

In addition to my degrees, I hold several endorsements that reflect my commitment to excellence in education. My Reading Endorsement emphasizes my expertise in literacy instruction, and I am dedicated to instilling a love for reading in our students. The Gifted Endorsement showcases my ability to identify and nurture the unique talents and abilities of gifted students, fostering an environment where they can thrive. Furthermore, my ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsement demonstrates my dedication to supporting English language learners and ensuring their successful integration into our school community. I believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and included.

Finally, my certification in Educational Leadership enables me to effectively lead and manage our school. I am committed to fostering a collaborative and empowering environment for our dedicated teachers and staff, supporting their professional growth and ensuring they have the resources they need to provide the best possible education for our students.

At Living Water Christian Academy, my goal is to create an enriching and nurturing learning environment where students can flourish academically, grow in their faith, and develop their unique gifts and talents. I am dedicated to partnering with our families and community to provide a well-rounded education that prepares our students for success in all areas of life.

Pastor Rick is the Lead Pastor of Living Water Community Church, a multicultural fellowship in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry. Pastor Rick was ordained into the Gospel Ministry on November 9th, 1997 and He, his wife and family have been in full-time ministry in South Florida since then. Under his innovative leadership, there has been dramatic growth in the ministries of Living Water and in the lives of those who place their trust in Christ. His ministry has been described as authentic, genuine, practical and intensely passionate. Pastor Rick’s relevant style of communication serves to enable listeners to come into an ever-growing personal relationship with God. Pastor Rick and his wife Deborah have been married since 1988 and have four beautiful children, Amanda, Ricky, Caleb, and Brittany.

Hello! I'm excited to join the team as a new teacher. As a mom and wife, I understand the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive environment. My goal is to ensure that every child feels cared for while they are learning, and to guide them in their journey to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. I believe that when children feel valued and supported, they are more engaged and motivated to achieve their best. I'm looking forward to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom where every student can thrive!

I’m so excited for the opportunity to create a classroom where God is at the center of everything we do and where children are reminded daily how deeply they are loved by Him. My goal is to build strong connections, inspire confidence in each child, and help them grow both academically and spiritually. Julienne May Gaa is a passionate educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. Known for her dedication to lifelong learning, she brings energy, empathy, and excellence into every classroom. Julienne believes in nurturing not just academic success, but a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Hello, I am a God-fearing, humble, and passionate educator from Grand Bahama, born to Haitian parents Jacky and Alverstancia Julien. I hold a Bachelor’s in Christian Education from Caribbean Nazarene College in Trinidad and have dedicated my life to impacting children through teaching, writing, and community leadership.

As the author of the children’s book Superhero DQ, I have served as Community Director, Vice President, and three-time President of the Rotaract Club of Eight Mile Rock, and helped establish the first Early Act Club in my community. I have been honored as Teacher of the Year, Science Teacher of the Year, and a Paul Harris Fellow for my leadership during and after Hurricane Dorian.

Fluent in Haitian Creole, I enjoy going to the gym, serving my community, and organizing learning events for children.

Hello! My name is Jalanie Belle. It is my personal pleasure to answer God’s call to share my knowledge as a teacher with you and the LWCA community. With 10 years of experience I look forward to this new chapter mapped by God as I join the team this school year. It is my strong belief that children have major potential to do great things and given the correct opportunity, they can change the world we live in. As teachers it is our job to help foster that potential. With years of experience in organizational management, communication, and creative content development, I am excited to share stories of faith, learning, and community through our digital platforms. Maegan has been a part of our church family since 2007 and now serves as the pastor’s assistant. As a devoted Christian, she lives a life centered on her love for Jesus and has a heart for helping others.
